Day 5: Serengeti National Park
The entire day is dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti. This iconic park, home to a rich diversity of wildlife including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos, is most famous for its massive migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. The migration patterns of these animals are driven by rainfall, varying from year to year.
From November to December, the herds move from the northern region, characterized by woodlands and hills, to the southern grassy plains. During the longer rainy season, from April to June, they make their way back north. Beyond the migrating herds, there’s also the possibility of encountering resident predators—leopards, cheetahs, and lions—playing their part in nature’s circle of life.
After an unforgettable day, we return to Lahia Tented Camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night on the Endless Plain.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed millions of years ago, is 600 meters deep and spans approximately 260 square kilometers.
Descend into the Crater, where you will soon encounter a variety of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species that inhabit the area. With some luck, you may even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the tall grass.
